Remember My Name

Sweater: Friend's / Button Up: Thrifted / Jeans: Thrifted / Shoes: Irregular Choice (Heels.com)

I feel like these garage pics are slightly awkward, but blog pics are normally awkward right? My mom bought me a cool tripod, so I set up right in front of my dad's shop, not really paying attention to all the cars passing by (which is always weird).

I love these jeans. Period. They're high waisted and the perfect color. And not to mention they're Ralph Lauren and I only got them for 4 dollars. YAS. That shell choker is actually a bracelet I got from my friends/sisters a loooong time ago when they went to Hawaii. I just found it in my drawer and thought it looked nice as a choker, so bam

Thank god it is finally looking like fall, even though this week will probably go right back to being hot. I love cold weather just because I have an excuse to wear my fur and velvety pieces. This is why I should have been born somewhere cold, gosh

In Too Deep

Top & Shorts: Goodwill / Shoes: Urban Outfitters

Is anyone else getting a witchy/pirate/bagpipe player vibe from this outfit??? I absolutely loved the shorts when I got them and there's so many ways I can wear them. I rolled them up here, but they honestly go down to my knees and I'm excited to wear them like that as well.

I ordered these shoes from Urban about two weeks ago and I am so obsessed with them. They're the perfect boot/flat combo for me since I love the pointed toe and the cut outs. Gah, I love shoesss

I also got a haircut. Nothing major, just cutting off all the blonde, which was basically all dead ends. I'm diggin my hair being shorter too since it makes me look older. Tell me whatcha think!

Anyone else getting uber excited for American Horror Story tonight?!?

things that occupy my brain rn

Top- From Left to Right: 1, 2, 3
Bottom- From Left to Right: 1, 2, 3

So sorry I've been MIA, I normally have a post within 2 or 3 days of my previous posts. Recently, I've been tied up with school and all the fun things that accompany that. The only time I honestly get to take outfit pics is on the weekend since I wear a uniform to school. BUT, I have lots of good things coming in the near future so I'm hoping that will make up for it.

I made this list today while I should have been working on an essay. These are just some pieces that I've had my eye on for a little while. Hopefully I can buy some or maybe receive them for Christmas because they're all simply amazing. Let me know which one is your favorite!

Then I got this super rad outfit for under 7 dollars. I mean come on, what even. (Sorry for the blurry pic, yay for crappy webcamzzzz~)

Top and Skirt: Thrifted / Shoes: eBay (Demonia Torment) / New Rings: Vacation in Tennessee

Is it possible for a person to prefer shoes over people? These are honestly my favorite pair in my closet at the moment. They're so comfortable and the heel isn't really too high, making it easy to walk in. I feel like I can also wear them with pretty much anything.

I got some new rings from vacation, the brown and green ones. They're both so beautiful and unique, a score in my book.

School is starting in a week, and I am in no way prepared. But, it's finally my senior year and then I'm done, college life here I come!

Rebel Beat

Top: Purple Cow / Pants: Polo Ralph Lauren (Goodwill score) / Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Simon / Purse: Purple Cow

I'm sorry if you're getting sick of the pictures in front of my house, but I absolutely love it. I love the stairs and columns and two little pot thingys. Idk man, it's cool.

I also am in love with these new pants I recently got. I wear a lot of the same bottoms most of the time, so I've been trying to acquire more as to add some diversity to my bottom collection.  But if I could, I would honestly wear these all the time. I found them at Goodwill for 3 dollah, and didn't even notice the brand until I got home and showed my mom. They are Polo Ralph Lauren, hence the amazing quality. They're a tad long, so I'll roll them up most of the time, no biggie.

Tbh, this is probably one of my favorite outfits, just because it's so comfy yet still me. And we can all laugh about the fact that it was around 90 degrees, yet I still wear pants and long sleeve shirts. Elohel.

Kaleidoscopic Memories

Dress: Thrifted / Shoes: Target / Jewelry: thrifted, gifts

I feel like I'm dressed in a paper bag...this dress is so huge, but for some reason I had to get it. I still like it, but looking at pictures, I slightly resemble a brown paper bag. Cool.

Today is pretty chill with all the fam coming over for Mother's Day. I want to say happy Mother's Day to any mama's out there. I know my mom does pretty much everything possible for me, and I'm so grateful. Love you MelBel!

Oh, and yesterday was the grand debut of my Tunnel Vision Bad Vibes shorts, so that post will be up soon..I'm excited.

be rad.

Food Babies, Dress Rips, & Hardcore Frolicking

Dat awko selfie:

Dress: Mom's / Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell x Human Aliens Alexandria / Jewelry: XXI

Prom. was. so. great! I went with a bunch of my friends and it was a ton of fun. We legit FEASTED before, hit up target for a quick Monster and Red Bull run, then headed over to the dance. And let me tell you, hardcore frolicking is as hardcore as it sounds. HARDCORE.

But yeah, we danced like fools. And also, everyone there looked amazing. All the girls looked so beautiful and the guys all dressed up. It was so cool.

I wanted to quickly address something as well. Okay, so most people have self-esteem issues or whatever you want to call it. I'm not saying everyone, but it's very likely most people have struggled with their self image at least once. I know I have. But I honestly felt beautiful and so confident at prom, and I could tell most girls and guys there did as well. It's hard to love yourself, I've been through it personally. But, I found this video and it is so amazing, and put a lot of things into perspective for me. People naturally tend to be harder on themselves and the way they see their physical image, but they don't realize what others see, which is true beauty. So just take the time to watch it, I promise it's worth it!

Heartbreaker 101

Everything Thrifted, except boots from Urban Outfitters

As you can probably tell, the ground is wet, therefore a legit storm hit us not 30 minutes before I took these pictures. I have no idea why our weather is so bipolar. Yesterday was beautiful and sunny, and today is the complete opposite. How...?

Yesterday I took the ACT, and it was quite frightening. But my stomach was making whale noises the whole time, so I'm almost positive everyone in the room wanted to murder me. We only have a couple weeks of school left, and I'm more than excited. It's weird though because I will be a senior next year, and that's pretty trippy.

Okay on to the outfit....don't you love when you forget about something in your closet and then one day it magically reappears? I love it. These boots have been with me for a while now, and I used to wear them pretty much every day. I just rediscovered them I guess you could say, and it was a magical moment. I got this white thing recently and decided to layer it over a skimpy dress to make it non-skimpy. Now you see my logic.

Enjoy your Sunday gooobs.
