Is anyone else getting a witchy/pirate/bagpipe player vibe from this outfit??? I absolutely loved the shorts when I got them and there's so many ways I can wear them. I rolled them up here, but they honestly go down to my knees and I'm excited to wear them like that as well. 

I ordered these shoes from Urban about two weeks ago and I am so obsessed with them. They're the perfect boot/flat combo for me since I love the pointed toe and the cut outs. Gah, I love shoesss

I also got a haircut. Nothing major, just cutting off all the blonde, which was basically all dead ends. I'm diggin my hair being shorter too since it makes me look older. Tell me whatcha think!

Basically this is the product of boredom in class/throughout the day. I love creating outfits with a massive selection of pieces to choose from. Most of the ones I make focus solely on the outfit and shoes. I'll throw random accessories in from time to time, but I love focusing more on the outfit itself, same with my own personal style. 

Alright another deep topic: Hollaback! I just saw this on Larissa's blog. (btw she's a kick-ass angel, ily her) Anyway, she goes way more into depth, but it's basically a non-profit organization to end street harassment/cat calls. When I first read about it, my mind immediately went into overdrive. How can I help, what do I do, sign me up! As I read more and more personal stories, it hit me that I have to do something, I can't just tell people about it. I've had an experience with street harassment myself, and truthfully it's disgusting and quite scary. With that, I've decided to talk about it with some girls at school or whoever is interested in my state and I want to start one in Louisiana. This organization is nothing but helpful, and why not do my part in helping someone? I encourage you to go read some of the stories and see for yourself. Just some food for thought!  

Lastly, I need help. My hair is a touchy subject for me and it's quite hard for me to change it. I've been thinking about the really short insane-asylum type bangs for a while now. If you don't know what I mean, here you go:

I love how its choppy and all over the place, but still pretty rad. I have a long and slender face, so I'm just worried it will look awko taco, idk. I've always loved Madeline's bangs, which is where I originally got the idea (even tho hers aren't as choppy) :

So should I do insane-asylum, Madeline's sassy short ones, or none at all??? Any advice is helpful!

I honestly don't know why I'm seriously obsessed with the milkmaid hairstyle. I love braiding my hair, and putting it up like this makes me feel sophisticated I guess? I'm not quite sure, but it's my favorite thing to do with my hair at the moment. I've started doing fishtail braids instead of regular braids and I like how it turned out.

Okay outfit time. First off, this shirt is one of my favorites. It reminds me of a Prada print, like this:

Or maybe even some old grandpa pajamas. Either way, I love it. This dress is weird in the sense that it bunches up and it's denim. Don't get me wrong, it's a cool dress, it's just weird in some angles. I still adore it though and I wear it a lot. This is also probably the first time I've worn this purse out in public. My friend Elise gave it to me a looooong time ago, and I just now rediscovered it you could say. I like that it's a smaller purse and the color is so BAM. I thought it went nicely with this outfit.

I love finding little Etsy or eBay stores online that cater to what my taste is at the moment. I found Electric Skinny a while back and still adore it.
