Belly Button Blues

Everything Thrifted

This shirt/ top thing has to be my new favorite thing EVR. It's so airy and roomy, perfect for the stifling Louisiana heat. I also quite like my overalls folded over like this. I feel awkward when I wear them with a top underneath and it just looks very cramped.

Also another weird fact about me: I love belly buttons. I think they're adorable. So yes, I love my belly button and might possibly get it pierced because I feel that's the only logical thing to do at this point.

So I've noticed my pictures on here seem to be blurry or fuzzy. They are very clear since I use a relatively nice camera. Anyone know how to fix this? When I click on the pictures, they show how clear they really are, so idk.. Help!

If you don't appreciate this, don't talk to me

Everything Thrifted, Dress {American Apparel}

So this would be considered my classy Sunday look. I normally don't look this girly, but I kinda dig it. When I first saw this American Apparel Dress, I thought it was part of a dance costume due to the fabric, but of course I tried it on anyway. The color is beautiful and perfect for summer. Coincidentally, Miranda, from Let's Get Flashy wore this dress in one of her recent posts. Of course it looked fab on her- go check it out!

I finally put a video together of one of Claud & I's adventures that we took a long time ago:

ALSO:
I just bid on these AH-mAZING shoes on eBay, and it was quite a scary experience waiting until the last 10 seconds. BUT I WON. And I will never take them off once I get them:

Abandoned bleachers make a great background for photos.

Claudia was looking like a space cadet with her shirt and glasses while I felt like some version of a 90's Clueless extra (only because of the shirt). Summer lovin at it's finest.

The Heat is a must see for summer and you will laugh so hard that you accidentally spit out your drink and infuriate the people in front of you (SORRY LADY!). But yeah go see it defoz.

Rebel Beat

Top: Purple Cow / Pants: Polo Ralph Lauren (Goodwill score) / Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Simon / Purse: Purple Cow

I'm sorry if you're getting sick of the pictures in front of my house, but I absolutely love it. I love the stairs and columns and two little pot thingys. Idk man, it's cool.

I also am in love with these new pants I recently got. I wear a lot of the same bottoms most of the time, so I've been trying to acquire more as to add some diversity to my bottom collection.  But if I could, I would honestly wear these all the time. I found them at Goodwill for 3 dollah, and didn't even notice the brand until I got home and showed my mom. They are Polo Ralph Lauren, hence the amazing quality. They're a tad long, so I'll roll them up most of the time, no biggie.

Tbh, this is probably one of my favorite outfits, just because it's so comfy yet still me. And we can all laugh about the fact that it was around 90 degrees, yet I still wear pants and long sleeve shirts. Elohel.

« Witchy »

Top, Belt, and Skirt: Purple Cow / Shoes: Mom's Friend

For some reason, this look makes me think of witches. From the pointy lace-up shoe, to the tight fitting top, I thought I partly resembled a witch. IDK man, witchy vibes.

I rarely wear lipstick because, well, I eat it off. That sounds undeniably gross, but it happens. This lipstick is called "On the Mauve" and it's probably my favorite over every color. It's different and kinda looks gray. It's got a futuristic look to it as well, which is always a plus.

I don't normally go for pointy toed shoes or ones that have thin heels, but these were pretty cool. My mom's friend passed them down almost a year ago to me, but this is the first time I've worn them. They aren't the most comfortable, but they remind me of witches, thus I will wear them.

Also, THIS FREAKING TOP. WHAT ON EARTH?! Immediately fell in love. It reminds me of colonial times, or something like that. It's pretty freaking rad. ♥♥♥

Signing off, eating Cheeze-Its...
