The backdrop might not be ideal, but it gets the job done, right? I took these pics real quick after school, and I love the lighting by my window. I felt very 'rebel schoolgirl-esque' with my Doc Marten's and leather shorts. And the beret is always for added sass effect. You're probably also wondering why I'm wearing shorts and a short-sleeve shirt in December...well it's currently 70 degrees in Louisiana, yeah cool I know! (So much sarcasm I can taste it)

As for the last picture, some may deem this inappropriate or whatevs, but I just wanted to talk about how I've been exploring and learning more about my sexuality lately. I mean, a picture of me flashing you my bra isn't very sexual in my opinion, sorry bout it. But I've been so open to new sexual experiences and it's shaping who I'm becoming, which I warmly welcome! Women as sexual creatures have been shunned and deemed inappropriate or corrupt in the world we currently live in. I just want to say to all my fellow women, embrace it, love it, and there is nothing wrong with sex! It's so liberating to find out new things about yourself once you've completely stripped down, and you're so vulnerable.

Huckleberry Wants His Pants Back

I've been on a disheveled housewife kick lately. I purposely flipped my hair outward and put on more blush than normal to appear more like the classic housewife. And of course this dress screams it as well. But then I felt compelled to mess it up in some way that made it more 'me', so I added some pants that I also cut up. And yes, these were Polo Ralph Lauren pants and I took scissors to them. Screw you overpriced pants. 

And can we also talk about this necklace and brooch/pin thing?? My Mimi came over to my house the other day with a huge chest of jewelry that she's been collecting for me. She's an avid garage sale goer, so she began collecting different pieces for me. How sweet is that? You should always go out of your way to speak or spend time with your grandparents, they teach you a lot. 

On another note, I've given more thought to the styling aspect of fashion, and I feel like I would really enjoy it. I'm not defining what I have to do yet, just keeping different options open. So I've been collaborating with different people from my school/city to help me build a portfolio. I've already done one shoot and I have to say it was freakin' rad. Stay tuned, because I will announce when I create a site for that! Love you guys!

This was the outfit I was supposed to wear to a school event, but of course my dress was too short. Even though many girls there had dresses shorter than mine, I changed. It was also unbearably hot so I would have fried in that carpet shirt. 

I got this dress from Oasap specifically for the event. I love the collar and the print on it with Medusa's head (I'm assuming that's her??). And the carpet shirt on top just added to the sassy awesomeness going on. 

I also wore my Eye of Horus choker that I got from Etsy. Definitely go check out her shop, she's such a doll and a very friendly seller! 

On another note, I just discovered Radical Something. They are a band from California and their music is extremely laid back but fun. No lie all of them are also v beautiful <3
